JO1 finishes Tokyo Dome leg of ‘EIEN’ as Osaka dates approach

JO1 has completed the Tokyo Dome leg of its latest dome project, JO1DER SHOW 2026 'EIEN 永縁', turning early April into a major moment for the group before the concerts move to Osaka later this month. The Tokyo performances on April 8 and April 9, 2026 followed the March 30 digital release of EIEN, a song created for the show, and arrived just after an early chart sign that the track was already gaining traction.

What happened

Entertainment outlet Oricon reported that JO1 held the Tokyo Dome shows across two days and used the stage to underline its intention to keep growing. In that live report, leader Sho Yonashiro thanked fans for giving the group their time and support, while also making clear that JO1 still wants to reach a higher level. Oricon described the concert as a conceptual production performed with a full live band and built around the idea of moving forward together with the bonds the group has formed with JAM, JO1’s fan name.

The official JO1DER SHOW 2026 special site confirms that the project now heads to Kyocera Dome Osaka for two more dates on April 22 and April 23, 2026. The same site lists ticket categories including reserved seats and upgraded seats that come with sound check access.

The concert’s title song is part of the story as well. THE FIRST TIMES reported that member Shoya Kimata wrote and composed EIEN and also took part in the arrangement. Billboard Japan then said in an early download ranking report published on April 3, 2026 that the song was leading its digital tally with 5,170 downloads for the March 30 to April 1 tracking period.

Another notable detail for overseas audiences is how the event is presented online. The official special page offers language options including English, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, and Malay, alongside Japanese.

Why this matters

For foreigners living in Japan or visiting for concerts, JO1’s current dome run stands out because the official event information is not limited to Japanese. That does not remove every barrier around ticketing or fan-club systems, but it makes the basics easier to follow: dates, venues, and seat types are available on an official multilingual page.

This is also relevant to Japan’s wider music scene. Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka are marquee venues, so a group staging four dome dates there is operating at a high domestic level. The combination of large-scale Japan concerts, an original song built for the shows, and multilingual official information suggests JO1 is trying to serve both its home audience and overseas followers as it expands its reach.
